Everything was good, nothing to complain about, I would recommend it. I enjoyed this lovely family run hotel and stayed for 1 night here. The rooms where large and beautifully maintained, especially those with a delightful view and a balcony, as for instance. The location was IDEAL close to nearby restaurants and the stuff here was really helpful. A cool bonus was nearby The Gardener, that offered tea and coffee.

Choose double room with balcony. Could use central heating, a personal safe, and multi-channel TV. The location was wonderful, approx 10-15 minutes' walk from Poca da Dona Beija Spring. The area was local not far from the amazing restaurant caldeiras e vulcões...

Ideal hotel, didn't feel like leaving.

The place was clean, I booked the twin room with views of garden, everything was perfect. Appreciated a flat-screen TV with cable channels, climate control, and an individual safe in the room. The location was particularly good and magnificent, the staff were really helpful. There were a convenience store and a bakery around the hotel.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this charming hotel in Furnas. The room I stayed in had a lovely balcony with a delightful view of the surrounding countryside. The family who runs the hotel, especially Rui, were incredibly friendly and helpful, providing great recommendations for things to do and places to visit on the island. The hotel's location in the heart of the village was perfect, with easy access to food stores, restaurants, and other attractions. The room was clean and comfortable, and the free internet access was fast. The breakfast spread each morning was fantastic, with a variety of fresh fruits, local breads, and delicious cakes. Despite some minor drawbacks, like the need to climb steep stairs and the lack of a richer breakfast selection, I would highly recommend this hotel to other travelers. my experience at Vale Verde was exceptional.

We enjoyed staying at a family-owned business and received personal attention and advice from the proprietors. The breakfast was as good in variety as in a large hotel in Ponta Delgada.

I stayed at Vale Verde in Furnas for a few days and had an amazing time. Rui, a friendly and helpful member of the family who runs the hotel, gave us great recommendations for things to do and places to visit. The location is perfect, right in the heart of the village. The hotel is spotlessly clean and has fast free internet access. Our room had a comfortable bed and a balcony with a stunning view of the surrounding countryside. I can't express how much we enjoyed our stay here. Highly recommend!

The weather in Furnas not always help but I was very comfortable in the hotel, air condition working 100%, great food confortable beds, everything very clean and the staff 5 star. All the best.

Residencial Vale Verde stands out for two main reasons: 1) the friendliness of its staff and 2) mum`s home cooking! As with many, but not all, family-run hotels, the staff were very eager to please and we came away with very positive feelings after our 3-night stay. Their personable approach and interest in what they do came over loud and clear. 10 out of 10! And you will not taste a better sauce on a forkbeard fish dish, or any fish dish for that matter! The bedrooms were not the most spacious, perhaps, but were clean and comfortable. Whilst the hotel fronts onto a street close to the centre of town, it is very quiet at night, silent for the most part.

I really enjoyed the room with balcony, the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was good with a different daily home made cake; the staff was very very helpful!

stayed here for 4 nights and didn't feel like leaving. the room turned out to be huge and tidy with a balcony and added extras like a choice of pillows, as example. the location of the hotel was good - at a short distance from a civil parish. furthermore, near all the attractions.

For the price, Vale Verde was a great value. The room was clean and comfy, and the location was ideal with plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. The staff, especially the owner Louis, were super friendly and helpful.

The only thing that could have made the breakfast better was more variety in the selection.
